John S. Evangelisti has served clients since 1973. For the past twenty years, he has concentrated his efforts in representing federal civil service employees. He assists them in employment matters such as workers' compensation, discrimination, and medical or disability retirement. Mr. Evangelisti is admitted to practice in the Colorado Courts, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals Federal Circuit, 8th Circuit, and 10th Circuit, and the U.S. District Court of Colorado. He is one of only a few attorneys who handles federal civil service employment issues and appears regularly before such agencies as the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), the Employees Compensation Appeals Board (ECAB), the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Mr. Evangelisti belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers' Association. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law. Mr. Evangelisti also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kean College in Union, New Jersey.
