  • Federal Workers' Compensation Law -We are one of only a few law firms in the United States that represent clients in federal workers' compensation claims. While working for the federal government has advantages, you are often subject to special regulations. If you are a federal employee and injured on the job, your claim is not handled through the traditional state workers' compensation channels. Because this process involves special rules and regulations, you need a firm with expertise and the dedication to help you receive the compensation you need to get on with your life. We have assisted a variety of federal personnel employed by various agencies, such as: USPS, US Mint, TSA, IRS, EPA, DOE, BOP, FAA, DOI, OPM, SBA, VA etc.

  • Federal Civil Service Employment Law -As in cases of an on the job injury, employment matters are handled differently when you are a federal employee. We regularly appear before a variety of federal agencies to argue for our clients. Because we represent clients in issues such as employment discrimination and medical retirement, we have extensive knowledge of the procedures of the Employees Compensation Appeals Board, the Merit Systems Protection Board, and the Office of Personnel Management, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

  • Employment Discrimination -Employment law covers a complex network of laws that controls how employers must treat employees, former employees, and applicants for employment. We have significant experience in interpreting and construing state and Federal statutes and case law in areas such as employment discrimination. Discrimination occurs when you are treated disparately due to your age, race, creed, color, national origin or handicap. It is also illegal to retaliate against someone for opposing discrimination or participating in the complaint process. While freedom from discrimination is considered a basic right, if you work for the federal government, your claim is handled differently. We have assisted individuals from all walks of life and have the experience to pursue your claim when you have been discriminated against.
